Starting your period for some is an exciting moment until later on when you have it for awhile.  Lol  Normally girls start their period between 12-15 years old. Girls start at different ages some start as early as 9 some late 15-16.  A lot of girls get excited when they first get their periods especially if a friend gets it first.
