Need to know if it's normal for mother cat to have swelling 7 weeks after giving birth to one kitten she's absolutely fine.

    Swelling of stomach 7 weeks after the delivery is not normal. Feline stomach swelling can be due to
    • Intestinal tumor
    • accumulation of fluid like as follow
    1. Blood due to hemorrhages.
    2. urine due to bladder tear
    3. Clear fluid
    4. enlargement of liver or spleen
    5. Infectious peritonitis.
    6. Air in stomach
    Treat this swelling as medical emergency and take her to vet to avoid future complications.
