      Yes, if you are sexually active and not on contraceptive protection then your delay in periods can be due to pregnancy. You should get pregnancy test either in urine or blood. If test is negative then other factors causing delay in periods should be considered. These factors can be
      1. Stress
      2. Chronic illness
      3. Excessive exercise
      4. Being underweight
      5. Use of hormonal medicines
      6. Use of antidepressants and oral corticosteroids
      7. Thyroid problems
      8. Pituitary gland problems
      9. Hormonal imbalance
      In case of no pregnancy discus about these factors with your doctor.
