How Do You Spell Bartucca In Italian?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

    Bartucca doesn't exist in Italian.
Bertuccia which is close, is a Barbary ape.
A Beccaccia, on the other hand, is a bird, which is a woodcock.
Battuta, which is  a quip,  or jokey comment, Is another possibility.
However, since I don't know exactly what you want to say, I have given the words which are the closest in sound.
So probably a barbary ape then, which is spelled Bertuccia.
This is used to insult someone, which I hope you are not doing.!!!! The normal use in Italy is "Va via brutta bertuccia".Which is horrible, because apes are lovely, and endangered.
It means off with you, you ugly ape.
As mentioned, I am trying to imagine which word you are referring to.
