How Do You Handle Waiting?

I am the ultimate impatient person. I pray daily for patience; "Lord grant me patience, NOW!".

I'm a very impatient person, I don't expect other people to even wait for me so why should I wait for other people,  if I gave you a time that I will meet you then I will be there at that time, so if you are not there at the time agreed on then I will wait another 5 to 10 min and leef, and even if you see me and ask me to stay then I won't because you just waisted 10 min of my precious time

I can have the Patience of Job! Really......I am very patient with my husband----
----and he can be very ornery! But, even "I" have my limits! Then he better duck!

I have been told that I am very patient. I put up with a lot from my daughter and my husband, but I don't see it  that way. I see it as they are being who they are, and I am only me. I can't always keep my patience in check though. When I am in the store, and want to out of the store, the hubby is shopping at his leisure, I get short with the patience then, but I will tell him, and he is usually understanding. But, I will get very short on patience when someone stops in the middle of the aisle of the store and just sit there with their heads you know where. Lol
Very seldom do I ever blow it, I will wait until the brain dead person is done and let it fall off the back. Lol

I can't, don't, won't. If my appointment is at 4:15. You better be ready for me at 4:15. I have 3 items in my hands and someone in front has 29, in the 8 or else aisle? I will say something. I make every effort not to make anyone wait for me, I expect the same.

Patience isn't something I am good at.
If on a long journey reading or music helps
If waiting for a bus or train people watching helps
However certain situations shouldn't require patience in the first place as  fore mentioned by his dimple
