What Does Novice Mean When Talking About Horse Riding?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

There are about 5 levels of riding when learning.  Just started, beginner, novice, intermediate and advanced.  There is a fine balance between novice and intermediate.  If you find you are still trying to trot on the correct diagonal and correct canter leg etc small jumps, then you are novice.  Once you have got these right, then your intermediate and can do more in bigger jumps, different groundwork.  Once your bored of all of those and can do higher jumps etc, no problem, then your advanced!
