I Cannot Access My Gmail Account. Can Anyone Help?

Whenever I enter the site address gmail.com in my PC the front page of the Gmail appears and within a second or two a error message is delivered saying that a problem has occcured and the window closes. I have a BSNL broadband 128kbps internet connection. This happens when i access my gmail from my personal computer only. How do i rectify this???
