How Can I Clear My CCJ's?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

A person can have his or her CCJ's cleared by notifying the concerned credit reference agency through a letter that he or she has satisfied all the terms and conditions of the CCJ. A CCJ can be removed only when the payments are no longer outstanding. To clear a CCJ, you need to produce the original summons, the name of the plaintiff, the name of the court and the number of the case.

Another instance in which a CCJ can be removed is when the CCJ has been rescinded on appeal. A person must provide correct details and factual information in his or her letter, as these will remain on his or her specific credit record for a period of six years, along with any other information he or she provides about his or her credit activities.
