How Does The Name Chis Sound In Japanese?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

    The name Chis? Or Chris?

Chis, would come out Chisu, if its Chris it would be said Chrisu. Most Japanese will try to say your name as close to the English pronunciation as possible because they know it is proper, just as many would expect you to know how to say their names properly.

Like if you knew a person named Ai Hirogamo, they would expect you to them Hiragamo, and not Ai, as the Family name is prevalent over the given name.
