Where Is Lake Tanganyika?

Lake Tanganyika is a large lake; this lake is located in the Central Africa. The lake of Tanganyika is located in four different countries; the lake has been divided in between the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Burundi, Zambia and Tanzania.

Majority of the river is divided between Tanzania (41 per cent) and DRC (45 per cent). The lake of Tanganyika is considered as the second largest lake in the world in account with its volume. The lake is also considered as the second deepest lake in the world in account with its depth. The co-ordinates of the lake of Tanganyika are 5°30′S 29°30′E, the lake is said to be a Rift Valley Lake. The main sources of the lake are Malagarasi River, Kalambo River and the Ruzizi River.
