We Rent How Do We Find Out If The Property Is In Foreclosure And What Are Our Rights?

If it is in forclosure, the landlord should give you written notice about it, and the new owners should give you the option of staying or moving. I think you should go and see your landlord/tenant board and talk to them about it for your own good. Hope this helps, good luck.

Thank You for the advice I wish my landlord would give me a notice however I haven't been able to even get her on the phone in 2 months she doesn't return calls .
You should be able to find the county appraiser website on line. You would then just type in the address that you live at and find out who the actual owner is.
Then you should be able to go to the county public records and search for that owner/owners name and it should come up with the foreclosure notice.
A owner / landlord does not have to give you notice if they do not want to. It would be nice. They also can collect rent on the property because it is still theirs until they lose it.
If you live in Florida it is really easy to find out.
