All moles should be kept an eye on and when you do notice anything unusual about them, you should contact your doctor immediately. In this case I would say that it should be looked at as you can never be too careful.

Moles do change for no apparent reason as you get older, but you should also be aware of the possible risks that could be controlling this change. Do not panic, make an appointment with your doctor and you should be fine. In the meantime keep an eye on any other colour changes, size changes etc which could determine what the problem is.
