    The history of snowboarding started with establishes similar to Sherman Poppen (the discoverer of the foremost commercially prepared snowboard called the Snurfer from Muskegon, Michigan), Jake Burton (creator of Burton Snowboards from Londonderry, Vermont), Tom Sims (originator of Sims Snowboards), and Mike Olson (Gnu Snowboards).
    Dimitrije Milovich, an east shore surfer, had the plan of sliding on cafeteria trays. From this he started rising his snowboard plans. In 1972, he started a corporation called the winter stick; by 1975, the winter stick was stated in Newsweek publication. The winter stick was based on the plan and sense of a surfboard, but worked the similar way as skis.

    The rising fame of snowboarding is reproduced by gratitude of snowboarding as an authorized sport: in 1985, the initial World Cup was held in Zürs, Austria. Due to the requirement for universal competition rules, the ISA (International Snowboard Association) was established in 1994. These days, high-profile snowboarding actions like the Olympics, Winter X-Games, the US Open, and supplementary actions are broadcast to universal spectators. It is also prominent that the sport has had an important collision on such countries that are mostly without snow, such as Australia, Afghanistan.
