    My 4 Years Old Male Boxer Is Not Eating, Drinks Water, Moves Okay However When He Lays Down He Is Shaking/trembles, Why?

    My 4 years old male boxer has not ate since yesterday, he is drinking water and seems to move around fine, however when he lays down from time to time he shakes/trembles mainly at night.

    Your dog needs to be examined by a veterinarian.  There are many causes of anorexia in dogs.  It is usually due to nausea--and of course many things cause nausea.  Dietary indiscretion, toxins, metabolic disease, kidney disease, liver disease, and pancreatitis are some of the causes of nausea in dogs.  The shaking and trembling could be a sign of pain or a neuro-muscular problem.

      Yes i agree he need to be taken to a vet. He could have picked up a disease from another dog in the house or neighbor hood and could have the flu or something like that
