Why We Should Allow 16 Year Olds To Vote?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

I don't know if we should. In thinking positively, it gives 16 year olds the right to voice their opinion and helps them to gain more independence. It also gives them the freedom to tell their thoughts of what they think should happen, while giving them the responsibility of pondering who they should vote for, making them realize that they need to make a responsible decision. Which results in the 16 year olds growing more responsible. When thinking that they shouldn't be allowed to vote, I would tell you they shouldn't because they are still young, going through rebellious streaks, making unwise decisions, and some 16 year olds wouldn't have a very stable opinion of what's best for their country.
