Can You Explain Why Animals' Food And Energy Can Be Traced Back To Plants And The Sun?

Because the sun provides nutrients to the plant because they have to preform photosynthsis which lets out some nutrients (sugar) to the plant and that makes the plants grow. Animals eat the plants that have grown with the help of the sun. And the plant is food to the animal. Food is the bodies way of produce carbs which provides animals with energy. So if you think about it the sun gives life to plants and plants give energy and food to the animals. And the animals gives food to US!!!

Because plants are the only sizeable living organisms that can obtain and create their own energy. They do this by using the energy from the sun. Animals can't do this, and need to eat either the plants, or another animal.

This is so because animals cannot make their own food and so they get it from plants which are the only organism that make their own food. What animals get from food is energy and the source of energy is the sun. Since they cant collect the suns energy on their own they depend on plants who take the energy and convert and store it in foods for the consumption by animals
