Can People Get Disease From Pet Birds?
If a bird has been in your home for all or most of its life is it still possible for it to get diseases and then transfer them to humans?

Yes you can if it came from the wild to you. But if you got it from the store you have a very low chance of getting a disease. So if you get it from the store you want get a disease.
