While some list the answer as Chathuringmes the term Chaetognathas more accurately fits. Chathuringmes is said to mean worms yet it doesn't appear to be a proper term. Fishermen essentially love worms since they need to put it out there as bait so as to catch fish. Doctors hate worms since they are considered parasites and need to be treated. As for kids wanting to eat worms, the riddle doesn't mean it literally. Rather kid's relish gummy worm instead. Gummy worms are just some variations of Gummy Bears which would include frogs, oranges, hamburgers and cherries.
The term Chaetognatha refers to a specific phylum of quite predatory marine worms. These worms are a chief component of plankton globally. Strictly speaking, Chaetognaths (12-letter word) should be the plural of 'Chaetognatha' and not 'Chaetognathas'.
This is a rather silly puzzle but I hope I solved your confusion.
