Can You Tell Me The Number Of Awards That Isaac Asimov Received?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Isaac Asimov won about 18 awards and about 14 honorary doctorate degrees from different universities of the world. If you take the names of the awards in chronological order, he got his first award in the year 1957 and the name of the award was Thomas Alva Edition Foundation Award for his work Building Blocks of the Universe. In the year 1960 he got an award from the American Heart Association and the name of that award is Howard W. Blakeslee Award. Boston University awarded him the Publication Merit Award in the year 1962. In the year 1963 he received Hugo Award for his contribution of adding science to the science fiction. He received a number of other awards also and in the year 1973, he received the Hugo Award again.

The number of awards that he received tells a lot about his talent and it is for this reason that he is so famous in this world.
