Why Wont My Car Start (no Spark)?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The problem normally stems to bad HT coils or a loose connection on the HT Leads are you sure it is not sparking. To test pop a lead off one of the spark plugs slid back the insulation at the end and with a pair of pliers hold it close to the engine block leaving a small gap
get someone to turn over the engine and you should see the blue spark jumping from the lead to the engine block.

Be careful and use insulated pliers the shock from an HT coil feel like you arm has been ripped off.
