Can I Turn A Pc Power Supply Into A Variable DC Power Supply?

I would like to use a pc power supply for a solderless breadboard, I would like it to be a variable DC supply.

    Yes you can.Just follow these steps:

    1-Remove the pc power supply and discharge it.
    2-Gather all the parts you need like terminals,LED and resistor etc.
    3-Unscrew power supply and bundle similar colored wires.
    4-Color codes are
    Red = +5V,
    Blue = -12V,
    Orange = +3.3V,
    Purple = +5V Standby,
    Black = Ground (0 V),
    White = -5V,
    Yellow = +12V,
    Gray = power is on,
    Green = Turn DC on.

    5-Drill holes for each color in power supply and but corresponding binding posts and also for LED.

    6-Connect all parts together and you get your variable DC power supply.For more detailed instructions,visit :
