    An HDTV stands for High Definition Television which is the highest form of digital experience when watching television. It is a one step higher than the normal definition television such as NTSC or PAL. An LCD television is referred to Liquid Crystal Display television. LCD televisions are expensive television sets which give an amazing digital output. When these two forces are combined, you can view the world's best digital experience. These televisions are generally huge in size around 40 to 45 inches and give a theatre like quality. HDTVs use higher resolution and require a special cable to receive the digital quality. The sound is also perfected. Video games such as Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 are preferably played on such televisions.
