Japan is famous for the salmon roe and the herring roe
Denmark is famous for its lump fish roe.
Italy is famous for the bottarga
Turkey is famous for the tarama or the Turkish meze.
West Bengal and Bangladesh are famous for the hilsa fish roe which is considered as one of the most superb delicacies of the region.
