Torquay is a seaside resort located on the Southern English coast in the county of Devon and is about thirty miles away from Exeter.

Situated on the English riveria, Torquay is a famous and popular holiday destination, its fame only added to by the filming of the famous Fawlty Towers in the town.

Torquay offers tourists the usual seaside attractions, as well as a fairly well stocked town centre, the resort is also full of bars and clubs.  Places to stay in the resort are easy enough to find, and the resort caters for those wishing to stay in a large hotel or a more relaxed and friendly bed and Breakfast.

From the small harbour located in the heart of the town, boat trips along the coast are offered, with pleanty of sea fishing trips available to anglers.

The nearby resort of Paignton is only a few miles to the West and offers much in the same as Torquay.
