These days that is confusing because memory sticks, flash drives, flash memory, stick drives... Are all names that refer to the same type of product. Each of these items are used in place of floppy disks and CD's. Floppy disks are outdated, corrupt easily and do not store very much. CD's, though they do store a considerable amount of data, are time consuming to use because they have to "burn" information onto the CD. Oft times the burning data to a CD does not work properly and you have to use a new CD and start the process over. It holds about 700MB which is a lot, but not compared to the flash drives which can hold 32GB or even more depending on the size you buy.
MB is megabytes and = 1 million bytes
GB is gigabytes and = 1 billion bytes
Storage device is defined as-a device capable of storing data. Usually refers to mass storage devices such as disk and tape drives. I think this is an old definition because as far as I know, nobody uses tape drives anymore.
Disk can be defined as the hard disk or hard drive in your computer, an external hard disk you connect to your computer and can disconnect to take with you, floppy disks which are outdated now, CD's and flash drives.
