    My Girlfriend Was Caught Driving My Car Without A Licence. Is There Anyway To Get My Car Out Of Tow Yard Before The 30th Day Hold At $40 A Day. This Is Going To Cost Me. Please Help Thanks

    The officer reported to me that he pulled her over due to the tent on the windows. Needless to say she does not have a drivers licence. She called me up. I came down with in 5 min with the proper paper work and insurance on the car thinking i would be able to drive it away. He did not give me the ticket for the tent but she did receive one car impounded for 30 days. Any way to get car out before 30 days? Need to get to work. I have licence and insurance.

    I believe you need to get permission from the police Department. They are the one that have the hold on it with the impond. If you can nicely ask they might. But they might have the attitude that your responsible to check lisence on the person you let barrow your car. I have seen both cases where they let it out early and where they said no way. But the impound will not release it without the paper or form from the PD saying its cool.

      Most places have a mandatory 30 day impound. Possibly ask the tow yard if you paid the 30 day fee could you get it out early. I don't think there is any way to get it out without paying.
