The easiest way to share the connection is to buy a router. You can pick one up fairly cheap (most for home use are under $100) at your local electronics store, office supply store or even WalMart.

You will plug in the power cord to the router, plug the ethernet cable from the modem into the WAN or Internet port on the router, then connect an ethernet cable from each computer into the LAN or numbered ports on the router. Most routers will work directly out of the box without any further configuration.

You could also contact your broadband internet provider and see if they have routers available.

Share the network with the two computers that is the best option.
