I Have A Bad Credit History, Can I Still Get A Home Loan?

Late credit card payments, CCJs or even bankruptcy may have left you with a less than impressive credit history, to say the least. The bad news is that when you apply for a home loan, the lender is able, and very likely will, search through your credit history and use the information to decide on whether to grant you a loan or not. They may decide you are too great a risk because of your bad credit. However, this should not in itself prevent you from getting a home loan because there are a number of lenders - many available on the Net - who specifically market themselves at people like you with bad credit, or 'adverse credit' as they may more kindly term it. These lenders are happy to ignore your past credit difficulties and offer you a loan. But remember, many of these lenders will charge higher than normal rates and may have more punitive terms than the traditional High Street lender who may have refused you a loan. However the 'bad credit lenders' still have to compete among themselves to offer customers the most attractive deal, so if you research a wide number of these lenders there is more chance that you will be able to find a 'bad credit' home loan on reasonable terms.

Be careful if you are going to inquire. Now a days, a lot of people want to do business. If you have bad credits, you cannot prove yourself very easy to lenders. You might find some loan, it will make you happy for the first year, then be homeless the next. So i will say, wait and do your homework. Start fixing your credit by paying on time. it will only take 2-3 years if you will commit so you can get your dream home. go to www.homesbyzparker.com and you can request and ask as much question. actually you just have to click on the question, the answer is already there for people to read.

I have terrible credit, including having a car repossessed in 2002. I am trying to obtain a mortgage now on a house that is assessed at $148,000.00 but i will be purchasing it for 78,900.00 and have 10,000.00 to put down. I have a cosigner with spotless credit.
