    The women's floor games were held for the first time in the 1952 Summer Olympics. These Olympics were held in Helsinki, Finland. These Olympics were held in July 1952.

    In these games Agnes Keleti of Hungary won the gold medal, Mariya Gorokhovskaya of Soviet Union won the silver medal and the bronze medal went to Margit Korondi-Plachy of Hungary.

    Since 1952, the women's floor games have been a part of all the summer Olympic games.
