    What Could This Be? My Jack Russell, Ginger, Has A Small Hard Lump Just Under The Skin Beside One Of Her Nipples.

    This lump moves and if you pick up her skin you can also hold the lump,which is dark in color. What could this be? Can it be treated?

    If you can pick the lump up and move it, it could well be a benign cyst. Best to get it checked out by a Vet though. As it is near the nipple, it could also be a blocked milk duct. Either way a Vet needs to intervene to be safe. If it's a cyst it can be drained.
