However the quality to your name for any loans or credit will be downtrodden for as long as 10 to 13 years. 10 years minimum and then 3 years worth of fighting to tell agencies to make sure it is removed from year 11 to like 3 years worth of making sure it's finally gone. And no matter what your lawyer may be able to salvage thru your bankrupcy like one vehicle for you to keep for example or something you wil always have to continue to pay things like student loans. If it makes you feel better I've gone thru train wrecks and whatever suffering people have they always think someone else doesn't know how bad the person looking back at them may have it even worse and like the "I just wish you knew what it was like" scenario. .
