Oral Thrush. Can You Help?

My doctor recently prescribed clotrimazole for the oral thrush due to the antibiotics, Nasonex, and Albuterol that I was taking (cough is gone and chest x-rays came back fine). I'll be done with the clotrimazole today but it still seems as though I still have this greasy feeling in the roof of my mouth. I'm off of the antibiotics, Nasonex, and Albuterol. How long does it take for the symptoms of oral thrush to disappear after I finish the clotrimozol? Could this greasy film in my mouth be due to the OTC mouth wash I'm using?

Oral thrush is the fungal infection of the mouth and also called candidiasis. It can be treated with imidazole derivatives like clotrimazole. Its dose in oral thrush is 5 times a day for 2 weeks. So, you will be completely cured within 2 weeks. Your greasy mouth can be due to overt the counter mouth wash because clotrimazole has side effects like vomiting and stomach upsets.
