If RST With Coordinates R {3,-3}, S{4,-6}, And T{2,-6} Is Rotated Counter-clockwise 270 About The Origin, What Are The Coordinates Of The Image?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The image will have co-ordinates of R(-3,-3), S(-6,-4) and T(-6,-2). If you make a triangle out of the origin, the negative y-axis and each point you just move the base(which is on the negative y-axis) 90 clockwise, which is the negative x-axis and the point forms the top of  the new triangle (which will be upside down). Anyway you just asked the answer and thats them above, just said i'd explain it a little in case you wanted to know a quick way of doing it.....
