Where Does The Word Tart Come From?
We were wondering how the word tart came about, there were some different opinions, but nothing confirmed the true beginnings of the word Tart.

The word Tart is of Old English origin and was spelled as Teart which meant severe. The word Tart literally means having a sharp or bitter taste. Or sharpness and bitterness in tone of speaking.
