As with many subjects, phrases and parables in The Bible, there are many different meanings and interpretations that can be deduced for the phrases you are enquiring about.

"Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: And his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; the field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; the enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world." - Matthew, 13:36-40.
Tares refer to weeds if you're wondering.
You many also want to investigate the phrase "first fruit" as it is a term used to describe the first fruit of the first harvest. God commanded His people to present the first fruit to the Levitical priesthood that served as their food (Deuteronomy 26:2). In Israel, it marked the end of the barley growing season and the beginning of the wheat season.

Mat.13:24-30..the good seed are those who have heard the Word and receive it and became born again.1Pet.1:23 they are the good seed they become symbolic as good wheat! They are sown all over the world as the Gospel is preached.( the field is the world) they are the children of the Kingdom, Gods kingdom!. Satan also sows seed called tares or the children of the wickid one! Who profess or pretend to be the children of the Kingdom, they are full of deception and Satan also sows them through out the world( the field) among the good wheat!to create confusion.God knows who they are! If we up root them It could harm some of the young new tender wheat that have not taken sound root in the Word of God. These are baby Christians new in Christ! But we can know by the Spirit of Truth who the tares are and in the end God Himself will seperate them 1Thes.4:14-20..John.14:3 Genaveve

Here's an example.... Planting a seed is when you help someone else in any way you can to be better, such as helping with a bill they may have and can't afford to pay it, doing a chore such as yard work that they are unable to do. Anything you do with a willing heart to help someone else.
The harvest is the reward you get in return from god. God blesses those who help others.... Every time.

One reference refers to humanity Mathew 13:30. Enemy had sewn in tares to the wheat the men said lets pull them out, and Christ said leave them lest ye pull wheat with the tare. At the time of harvest ALL will be gathered and separated. I pray at his harvest I am wheat.

Planting seeds is symbolic of fertility. Plant your seed in as many Christian maidens as you can. Plow their fields, and harvest children who will be brought up in the faith.

It is spiritual and you must come to God whole heartedly, so he may anoint you with his Spirit and send His angel's to minister to you.

Planting seeds refers to ones actions whether they be for good or for evil. Harvesting them is letting those planted "seeds" grow until mature. Then ridding the field of the evil. In other words The lord sees the good and the evil and we all live together amongst each other. Now when the time comes to "harvest" he will rid the land of the evil and save the good.
That is why it is always important to walk in his light and keep him in your heart at all times. Let him guide your steps for he has a plan for evey one of us who love and believe in him, for when the time comes he will cast those not walking with him to burn forever in hell. So, if you keep him in your hearts and minds at all times and repent your sins and forgive those who have hurt you, then you will be saved in the end.

We are the seeds. Some seeds (Christians) hear the word, accept the Lord, but at the first sight of trouble they wither and die in Faith. Some seed (Christians) take hold, but when the storms are too bad, their roots are not deep enough and the winds blow them up and away. Some seeds (Christians) take root and become strong in the Lord and we are his precious Children.. We stay strong and become huge trees. We spread his good news and we obey our Dad..
