Answer Question

Color doesn't make a difference, but the quality of the candle wax does.

Color matters, but quality of wax matters more.  Black and darker colors attract and retain more heat; lighter colors reflect heat.  It's true when burning candles, also, although it's rather negligible. Given the exact same quality of the wax and composition of it, the lighter colored candle will burn slower.

This was my science experiment. I got two candles that were from the same manufacturer. One was red, and one white. The red one burned much faster. This isn't because of the coloring, then?

No. The color of a candle has no effect on the rate at which a candle burns.  The contents of the wax, the size of the wick, and the size of the candle are the only elements that will affect the rate of burning.

Yes it does the darker coloured candles absorb more heat so therefor that means that darker coloured candles burn faster.
