I hope you are asking about chickens not tame cage bird's. Baby chicks will readily eat and drink. Keep a good fresh supply of chick starter from your local mill or tractor supply store and keep a chick water er at all times.Remember if you have hatched the eggs yourself in an incubator or took chicks from other hen, you will need a box preferably a rubbermaid tote with a secured brooder lamp and clean pine shavings chicks have to be kept very warm or they will die.
