The main expectation from commissioned ensign is integrity, honor and honesty. He is expected to defend the country from enemies. Be honest and dedicated to the forces as well as the country.

To me, a Commission is like a contract with the Government to serve as an officer and a Gentleman/[Lady] in The Armed Forces for the period of time specified in the commission papers.
