My Pups Eye Is Weeping And It Looks Blue/white, What's Wrong?

Answer Question

Your pup needs a vet. It could be an injury or dry eye or a tear duct problem or numerous other things. Any problem with the eyes should be investigated and taken care of quickly or can cause a lot more damage. If that's an injury when they aren't treated they tend to get infected. Then in many cases the eye needs to be removed or if not soon enough it can pop out or explode in their head. Not pleasant for anyone involved. It could also be something like distichiasis or entropian (very common and/or even sometimes expected in some breeds) that is causing damage as it is rubbing and irritating the eye. Most things like that are very painful as they are with us and the longer they occur the more damage is done. Once you go to the vet they will check it out and be able to give you a better idea of what is actually happening and what you need to do for your pup. Hope your baby is feeling better soon and it's not too bad.
