1996 Ford Club Van Replaced Alternator Still Acting Up. What's Wrong?
I replaced an alternator in my van....i checked everything...the amp light is still on and the voltage is only reading 12amps. I checked the fuses and battery and even took the alt back to the store and everything checks out ok????but what's wrong??cannot figure it out???/

yes the van is running okay. but it is not getting the voltage it needs. it is only reading 12amps and the amp dash light is still on.....how we knew it was bad in the first place it shut down sat on the road when the amp light came on an hour before....
