What Happens To Your Skin When You Are Embarrassed?

When one is embarrassed, the blood will rush to face and cheeks, the oposite is true for fear, your face will drain.  It has a lot to do with involuntary actions in the body, the brain sends a signal, if fear, blood will drain, skin gets clammy and cold and the flight or fight instinct will kick in. When blushing due to embarassement blood flow is increased to head and neck, I used to blush so bad, even my hair line would turn red, so even if I bowed my head, you could still see it in the part. Had a friend who was so painfully shy, was given a medical condition. Sometimes, the brain over reacts, that is  when medical treatment is required

You blush, blood flows to your cheeks make you look red :) Completely normal. Some people even have panic attacks..
