You will not hallucinate or have delusions from weed. Do not listen to Tausif they've never touched the stuff. They only know what they have been taught. You will get hungry, laugh, and be a little stupid while under its affect. It can be harmful to your lungs. However, you can eat it. It is adsorbed though the fat cells when injected. The 1st time you wont feel much.

i think that you should be careful about applying your opinion/experiences on others, Jwyatt. Like any drug, cannabis affects people in different ways, dependent on a number of factors such as previous experiences, other drugs used, and any existing health/mental health conditions. I have been a weed smoker since i was 15 and at 20 gave it up again after several experiences which scared the crap out of me (large amount smoked, hallucinations, paranoia) and since then i have struggled with my own mental health. I smoked again since and though had a great time, laughed a lot etc (like when i first started), it takes me longer to get it out of my system and back to "normal. I think you should be careful singing weeds praises, as not everyone has the same experiences as you.

I do not know anyone that has ever had hallucination from weed. Even when smoking large amounts. I have had some of the best weed there is. According to Denmark coffee shops. I have smoked huge amounts in one night. Perhaps yours weed was laced with something, i suppose. Or perhaps your own existing mental illnesses' were to blame. I was not singing weed praises as you claim. Yes, it affects people in different ways. Yet perhaps also you started smoking too young. perhaps. Also, ones body will build up a tolerance to anything including weed. So, yes it is absolutely normal for you to take longer to come back to "normal." That is to be expected. Just like if a smoker does not smoke for a few days the effects will be greater. The longer the wait the higher one will feel.

With light to moderate use expect short term impairment of memory and cognitive ability.  It is debated but a number of studies suggest that heavier use can lead to permanent cognitive impairment .  In men heavy use can lead to testicular atrophy.  All this is in addition to the lung damage inhaling any type of smoke can cause.

What a load of uninformed,non-backed up,non researched, rubbish. That's what you get if you look to the internet.Poorly researched, biased information where you have no idea where it is being funded from or who by.And as for something where Wikipedia is the main source!!!Haha!!! You'd have to be really stoned to believe anything in there.Nice try though!Haha!I shall save myself the bother of getting articles with exactly the opposite results in it,by actual medical bodies.

I agree with the guest comment here boris. The research you cite is quite old and most newer research has debunked it. Http://www.erowid.org/

Please don't minimise the effects of skunk, as opposed to cannabis resin or less potent marijuana. That is misguided and harmful. I work with the fall-out of it every day and believe me there are individuals out there that are seriously unable to handle the effects. Great if it's not you. Well done. You have my admiration that you can 'handle your liquor'. Let's not go there by discussing the countless lives affected by personality change and aggressive behaviour; not just the individual but the families affected by it.

So... If you feel that skunk has no place in a discussion of harm relating to drugs then you have no insight into the problem and probably should be elsewhere, eg a Probation Office or a Drugs Misuse agency.

        Simple, really.

My daughter who is 25, has been smoking skunk for some time. She admit that she had a cannabis habit from 14! My daughter has had a total personality change and is always aggressive. She gets very down too..her beautiful white teeth are also ruined and she has no ambition! Its got to the point that we cannot communicate anymore..I really dont like her. I love her still but I just cant find..any her former self. I feel I might as well lose her to crack..for all the purpose she has.

I agree Sigy. I spent 6 years in Australia and smoked very heavily for 21/2. By the end of the 2 1/2 years I was smoking a 1/4 ounce through a bong per day. I had a breakdown and it has taken me over 3 years to rebuild my life. It caused my marriage to fail and my personality to change. I became a very aggressive person. I now work in psychiatric medicine and see the results of heavy use of cannibas. Keep smoking to a minimum. Occsionally is enough. I do not go near the stuff anymore.

Smoking Skunk has many psychoactive and physiological effects when it is taken. Its side effects are memory difficulties or paranoid and strange ideas, and can lead to psychotic symptoms such as hallucinations and delusions.

You can take information from the following websites

I think it’s highly irresponsible and silly for people to imply cannabis/week/skunk isn’t dangerous. It is extremely dangerous. The fact that some people can smoke it and achieve the desired effects, i.e being relaxed, stoned etc, doesn’t mean it’s the same for everyone.

My sister smoked weed for a short while, and enjoyed it she said before she moved to skunk for a stronger buzz. The skunk turned her psychotic and she needed to sectioned under the mental health act. Be careful!!!
