Im sure he isnt able to do this. You need to check your lease to see if hes put something in there to say he can

I don't think he can. Depends on where you live and how long you lived there I'm from Illinois and after 1 yr they can raise the rent up but it has to state it in the lease。

It all depends on your lease. If your Landlord has given you notice of eviction due to back rent or whatever reason and you pay any of the back rent prior to the day of eviction he can take that money and still evict you. It really depends on the wording on your Lease. If it is a verbal Lease, unfortunately, the landlord does not have to give you any notice but does have to give you the opportunity to get you things or store it for you for 30 day and if not claim my discard it or sell it.

You should contact your local Legal Aid to see if they can help. If it is not signed by a judge, then, there needs to be some wording in your lease stating that they may do this without cause. If there is neither, go to your local village/twn/city Justice to appeal or get a "Show Cause" hearing.
If you are disabled, the landlord would have to have a very good reason for eviction which would come out at a hearing.
