How Many Homes Have Access To The Internet In The U.K?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The answer is nearly half, is statisticts are to be believed,  45% of the population of the Uk has internet. 20,5 million adults and 7,8 million households, which is rather a lot. However, not all have broadband service, nor use hot spots for wireless connection.
About 27% use their mobiles for internet surfing, this may be just managing e mails on the train however.
Then apparently only 25% have broadband capability, some of these are businesses run from homes or located in a small office near home.
Another interesting statistic is that 98% of the population of Britain have a moblie phone.Which is pretty much everyone.
