What Is Madonna's "Who's That Girl"� About?

'Who's That Girl' is a movie which came out on the 7th of August in the year 1987. It was released by Warner Bros. and starred Madonna and Griffin Dunne. The screenplay was penned by Ken Finkleman and the director of the movie was James Foley.

The movie proved to gain some recognition from its adolescent audience, however monetarily speaking it did not do so well. However, the soundtrack of the movie did manage to achieve commercial success with the title track, 'Who's That Girl' reaching number one on many charts.

Madonna later staged a World Tour under the name 'Who's That Girl' and it was a huge sensation in 18 cities spanning the continents of North America, Europe as well as Asia.
The movie was basically a modern day rendition of the 1938 film called Bringing Up Baby.
