Co-signer, And Ex Boyfriend Is Hiding Car. Is This Possible?
My ex has not made a single payment on this car in 2 years. I just found out and a private investigator called me and said he is going to report the car stolen and I will go to jail. Huh? Is this possible?

Yes because withholding any information can make you an accessory to the crime. Even if you don't know where he is you know he is hiding the car.A lawyer is not a bad idea.

there isn't anything that he can do as long as the payment is up to date. Just make sure he doesn't have a extra key and i would lock the steering with a club. Just because he is cosigner doesn't make it his. I would keep on hand any proof of payment you have just in case he tries to lie his way in front of a judge though

Huh ... I am the co-signer, I did almost two years ago, we split up and now I get a call saying I need to pay the car or go to Jail because I am the co-signer. I don't even now where my ex is to possibly convince him to give them the car. Not sure if you were reading my post.
