I don't know what red mange is but i wouldn't recommend giving a dog any human developed medicine. It's not made for them and there bodies can't handle medicine like we can

Benadryl is the mildest form of human medicine that a vet will recommend as a sedative for your dog. Depending on the weight will depend how much. Doesn't work on my dog, it jacked him up for 24 hrs. Will not harm the animal if given the correct dose.
