The name of the tallest pyramid of the world is the Great Pyramid Giza, the only remainder of the 'Seven Wonders of the World'.  This is the oldest pyramid. This was built around 2560 BC as a crypt for 4th empire Egyptian pharaoh Khufu and believed to be constructed over 20 years of time. This pyramid is also known as Khufu's Pyramid.

The Great Pyramid of Giza has a strong influence over various research areas including technology, especially ancient technology, architecture, and statistics. Apart from that, it has a critical significance on history, anthropology, Egyptology, to name a few.

There are various theories suggested by ancient philosopher to modern scientists for determining the strength of the workforce used in the construction of the Great Pyramid of Giza. For example, Herodotus, the great historian of 5th century estimated the workforce was around 100,000, whereas Wieslaw Kozinski, the polish architect, estimated it around 300,000 on-site in addition to 60,000 off site.
