Do Real Nails Grow Under Fake Nails?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Yes they do but the fake nail ruins the nail bed.  It can become very expensive to maintain false nails.
Personally I do not like false nails particularly when they are straight across the top.  I feel it is far more attractive to follow the natural shape of your cuticle.

Yes, but when you take them off, your nails will be damaged because it takes several layers of your own nails when they are taken off.  I love my acrylic nails, its a personal decision, I love mine on the shorter side and straight across, it makes my fingers look longer, and that is the style. I'm a hairstylist constantly in water and chemicals, so Its hard to grow my natural nails. So they work for me.
