What Are The Causes Of A High Liver Enzyme Count In Toddlers?
A blood test just revealed a liver enzyme count of 47 in my 18 month old grand daughter. I would like to know the possible causes.

The liver enzymes called aminotranferases, these are AST and ALT. The normal Levels of AST are 5-40 and of ALT are 7-56. The high levels of These AST and ALT indicate some damage to liver due to any infection especially virus.
